The ACT Integrity Commission Fit Out is a new purposes-built facility to accommodate the growing needs of the newly formed ACT Integrity Commission. The state-of-the-art facility includes the construction of an open plan office including staff offices, utilises area, break out space and dedicated services rooms. In additional, a dual purpose and flexible hearing/board room was built taking into consideration acoustic treatments to the walls, ceilings, and the operable wall. Furthermore, the project required the detail co-ordination of trades to manage the security requirements including new electronic access control, alarming and physical treatments such as ballistic partitions and ballistic glazing.

To ensure our client met their financial obligations, Projex were required to fast track the start of construction to generate prompt project expenditure whilst the design was being finalised. It was critical to maintain a transparent dialogue between Projex and all stakeholders when reporting on expenditure. A diligent procurement process was developed in which subcontractors and suppliers were efficiently engaged, reviewed, and approved to start on site to assist with the client requirements. The process enabled Projex to maintain client satisfaction within such a fast-paced project.
