Site Manager
Projex Building are seeking an experienced Site Manager to work in our Commercial Division. Projex Building provides high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more. The duties of this commercial Site Manager role will include but are not limited to:
- Site supervision
- Management of subcontractors
- Management of site resources
- Coordination and documentation of all site activities
- Construction programming
- WHS implementation
- Reporting on overall construction progress to office and client

Project Manager
Projex Building are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work in our Commercial Division. The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:
- Undertake duties required to oversee the delivery of projects assigned to you by the Directors;
- Assist bid teams in preparation of tender submissions;
- Full accountability of project delivery, including resourcing, site management, project budget, project scheduling, consultant and client stakeholder management;
- Visit sites regularly and monitor quality, safety and construction status;
- Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors/trades and suppliers;
- Participate in the development of Projex Building’s management systems, branding and clientele;
- Undertake a leadership role within the business with focus on mentoring and developing building cadets and contracts administrators;
- Participate in the development and implementation of our Integrated Project Management Plan on a project by project basis.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Tertiary experience in a relevant discipline, such as Building and Construction Management, Engineering etc;
- Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial construction projects with multiple years’ experience;
- A high standard of written and verbal communication;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment;
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite;
- Previous experience with Jobpac, Procore, ProcurePro and 1Breadcrumb software is advantageous;
- Understanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract Law.

Contracts Administrator
Projex Building is a well-established local construction company specialising in the delivery of high-quality building services to both private and government clients across the ACT, including commercial construction, residential multi-units, refurbishments, fitouts and more. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, great communication skills, down-to-earth attitude, and ability to get the job done better.
We are seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our commercial team. The successful applicant shall have relevant qualification in the construction industry and will have post graduate experience in contacts administration, tendering and project delivery.
The duties of this role may include but are not limited to:
- Supporting Project Managers to successfully deliver projects
- Preparing documentation such as subcontracts, supply agreements and variations
- Subcontractor engagement and negotiation
- Material procurement
- Reviewing & processing monthly subcontractor payments and invoicing
- Tracking program progress and deadlines using MS Project and preparing reports
- Ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements
- Assisting in client correspondence
- Assisting in design reviews
- Assisting in tender submissions
- Assisting in safety system implementation
The ideal applicant will have:
- Graduate or Post-graduate experience in a relevant discipline, such as contracts administration, tendering and project delivery.
- Proven track record in a similar role delivering commercial or residential construction projects (please specify)
- A high standard of written and verbal communication
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
- Relevant computer skills including MS Project and MS Office Suite
- Understanding of Building Codes/Australian Standards/Construction & Contract Law
