Overview

Projex were engaged on a lump sum agreement to refurbish the existing indoor gaming lounge and construct a new 200m2 extension to the outdoor gaming alfresco. To further accommodate the increasing popularity of the iconic Queanbeyan club an existing bowling green was converted into a new parking lot comprising of 57 parking bays.

High level finishes were used throughout the internal remodelling which included a new internal gaming lounge, alfresco gaming lounge, cashier counter, airlocks, and sports viewing room. Curved timber joinery screens were constructed to separate the main bar area and restaurants from the newly refurbished gaming lounge.

All works were carried out whilst the club remained operational by use of full height quality hoardings. Further, a 4-staged approach prevented club facilities such as the gaming lounge from being out of use for a substantial amount of time. This ensured the club suffered little downturn in trade whilst works were in progress.
