PROJEX® Building

Overview

Projex was engaged by the CSIRO to manage the design and delivery of the Data 61 project. The goal of this project was to upgrade the CSIT ground floor space into a functional facility to accommodate CSIRO Data 61.

The entire Ground floor, north wing of the CSIT Building was stripped out and transformed into an open plan flexible work environment. Collaborative areas were placed throughout the space to give users the freedom to work whatever way best suits their needs. The design recognises the different ways engineers and researchers work, including the need for quiet rooms as well as collaboration and meeting spaces.

Ultimately, the fit-out embodies the spirit of an innovative organisation.
