Overview

Projex were engaged following a competitive lump sum tender process as the Principal Contractor for the fit-out of levels ground, 1 & 2 for the landlord and their new ACT Government Tennant, ACT Elections. The new office is 2600 sqm of Class 5 Type A Construction. The works required the creation of spaces that could be adapted with ease for the ACT Government tenant to suit a fluctuation of staff that coincides with ACT Elections. This included separate data networks, a new reception, 100+ open plan workstations, a commissioner’s office, collaboration spaces, project labs, lounges, offices, meeting rooms, two kitchens complete with breakout areas and a tea point. The site was provided as a partially completed cold shell as the client’s representative had terminated the base building contract works and the works under contract included the completion of this portion of the works and the integrated fitout.
