PROJEX® Building

Overview

After a competitive lump sum tender process, Projex was selected to deliver the National Capital Exhibition at Barrine Drive, Regatta Point. The project involved the demolition and reconstruction of a 700 square metre NCC class 9b assembly building, the installation of new exhibition displays, a theatre and audio-visual package, a new entrance, renovations to existing amenities, and basic building upgrades. The design of the project was a collaborative effort between the National Capital Authority, exhibition designers, curators, graphic designers, and content creators, as the client wanted an exhibition that was up to international standards. Projex worked closely with the certifier and the design team to make sure the construction complied with the National Code of Construction, including AS1428.1 Design for Mobility, and that the design intent was followed.
