Overview

Projex Building Group were engaged to complete a 6632sqm Office Fitout for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority located at Levels 9, 10 & 11 of 18 Marcus Clarke St. The fitout works involved the construction of new open plan workspaces, offices, collaboration, meeting and training rooms, media suites, communications rooms, locker areas, kitchenettes, and utility spaces. The project utilised a range of high-end finishes requiring careful consideration from design to installation. This included feature timber batten ceilings, timber pergolas, booth seating, suspended acoustic ceilings, stone benches, painted colour themes, and a detailed signage package following an aviation theme. A prominent feature of the fitout involved a 10m void stairway where timber battens were utilised at the high ceiling and at the surround of each floor including a glass panel feature running the height of the void that was finished with custom aviation graphics.
