PROJEX® Building

Overview

Projex was engaged to manage the design and construction of the refurbished National Capital Exhibition and the integrated fit-out of the Canberra and Region Visitors Centre at Regatta Point in Canberra. The works required careful project management to meet the various stakeholders’ objectives and produce a high-quality exhibition space for the community.

The project included a major refurbishment of the National Capital Exhibition building to create an international-standard Visitors Centre that met the strict standards of the National Capital Authority and the significant needs of Tourism Canberra.

The project involved significant demolition and structural changes to the base building, new infrastructure and office amenities, a new entrance, improved disability accessibility, landscaping, and a custom fit-out with a large audio-visual package.
