Overview

Projex Building Group is proud to have successfully delivered the St Francis Xavier Theatre Upgrade, transforming the existing space into a modern, high-quality performance venue for students, staff, and the wider community. The project involved the complete demolition of outdated features, including the lower stage, flooring, seating, wall panelling, and rear operable wall. In their place, new timber batten wall linings, acoustic panelling, carpet floor coverings, and a striking V-groove stage edge were installed to elevate both function and aesthetics. The upgrade also included new theatre seating, enhanced lighting, fresh paint finishes, and a glass operable wall with an acoustic curtain to maximise flexibility. The revitalised theatre now provides a contemporary, dynamic, and versatile environment designed to inspire performance and creativity.
